01CompatibilityWhich STAAD versions are supported?
STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition V22 Update 10 and every edition since. Anything older will not run. We ship a compatibility update within days of each new Bentley release.
02TrialIs there a free trial?
Yes. Download the installer, run it, and sign in inside the application to start the trial on that computer. You get 100 optimize runs within 5 days, whichever ends first, on models of any size, with full calculations. One trial per computer.
03Your dataDoes my STAAD model leave my computer?
Your .std file stays on your computer and is never uploaded. The application talks to our service over an encrypted connection to check your licence and record each run, and writes the result back into STAAD on your machine. Privacy Policy
04ConnectivityDo I need an internet connection?
Yes. The application checks your licence online and records each optimize run, so keep it connected while you work. STAAD itself runs on your computer as usual.
05PlansHow do the plans work?
Runs cost ₹18 each, from 100 runs, with 5% off at 250 runs, 10% at 500 and 20% at 1,000; you choose how many at checkout and use them within 90 days of purchase, and buying more adds to what is left and starts the 90 days again. The yearly plan is unlimited runs for a year, paid once, with no auto-renewal; buying again adds time on top of what you have. Perpetual is a one-time payment with unlimited runs. Your licence follows your account, so you can move between computers, one at a time.
