Our refund policy is simple: every purchase comes with a no-questions money-back guarantee for the first 72 hours.

1. Overview

We want you to be confident in your purchase. Because we don’t offer a free trial, we offer a 3-day money-back guarantee on every purchase — if the PEB Optimization Tool for STAAD doesn’t work for you within 72 hours of payment, we’ll refund the full amount.

2. 3-Day Money-Back Guarantee

The guarantee covers all purchases of the Software made via our website, in either currency (USD or INR), and in any quantity, on both monthly and annual plans.

The 3-day window starts from the time and date of successful payment, as recorded on the Razorpay payment record (IST).

You don’t need to give a reason. If the tool doesn’t fit your workflow, doesn’t install, doesn’t deliver the value you expected, or simply isn’t for you — you’re entitled to a full refund within the window.

3. How to Request a Refund

Send us an email at hello@peboptimization.com within 72 hours of your payment, with the following details:

  • The name and email used at purchase.
  • Your Razorpay payment ID (begins with pay_) — this was sent to you in the payment confirmation.
  • Optionally, a brief note about why you’re asking for a refund (helps us improve, but not required).

We’ll acknowledge the refund request within one working day.

4. Refund Processing

Once a refund is approved:

  • Refunds are processed through Razorpay back to the original payment instrument used at purchase.
  • The refund typically reaches your bank or card account within 5–10 working days, depending on your bank and the payment method (UPI refunds are faster, international card refunds are slower).
  • The refund will appear on your statement under the merchant name registered with Razorpay.
  • Once a refund is processed, your license key is revoked and the Software will stop validating on your machine.

5. Subscription Cancellation

Our plans do not auto-renew. You don’t need to cancel anything to stop being charged — once your monthly or annual term ends, no further payment is taken unless you actively buy a renewal.

6. Non-Refundable Situations

The 3-day window is the period within which a refund can be claimed without justification. Outside that window, refunds are not normally provided. Specifically, we do not refund:

  • Requests received more than 72 hours after the payment timestamp.
  • Subscriptions on which the customer has already used the Software substantially — for example, where the license has been activated and used to optimize multiple frames over an extended period.
  • Cases where misuse of the Software, breach of our Terms & Conditions, or fraudulent payment is detected.

Where a refund is not available under this policy, we may, at our sole discretion, offer a partial refund or credit if circumstances warrant it. Please reach out and we’ll engage in good faith.

7. Enterprise Agreements

For enterprise customers, refund and cancellation terms are governed by the separately-signed enterprise agreement, which takes precedence over this policy.
